My first foray into hiphop both lyrical and erm..street? Sigh...and I had to pick the most difficult choreography...Difficult choreo I can cope but given the lack of time...sigh...I'm trying but seriously, I'm not confident.There's this sense of foreboding hanging over my head. I am sure for DU we can get it down pat but for RHazz.....my last experience with lack of practice was a disaster. Now, I can't get rid of that same fear...just had a horrid sleep this morning cause the steps and song are haunting me...I'm trying but will I be good enough??

~Wee Wee & moi~ On a sadder note, my dear parents have left for their month long trip to Pattaya - the new workplace of me daddy. My mom's helping him settle in, i.e. clean & pack up the house, nag his ears off, etc. We sent them off at the new Budget Terminal and my goodness, it really does look budget alright..talk about bare and ugly. Oh well, guess you can't complain. But the menu at Han's was really quite interesting... ~Han's Menu (& daddy's hands)~ I'll be joining papa in May! weehoo!! Another holiday to look forward to!16th Feb 07 - the start of my mid-term holidays. 'Coincidentally' the Chinese New Year celebrations occurred simultaneously. My theory: that ain't no coincidence, it's my cheapo uni at work again - depriving us of our much needed rest. sigh...for fear of being sued or worse, adding to my ever-growing collections of B-s & C+s, I had better not mention where. heh.Anyhoos, CNY is the same as always. Visitation sites never change, ang bao money collected also no change..hmm...alone again too. sad. Would have thought this period without K could have been spent better like you know...asserting & enjoying my freedom. haha...as if.But, I did get to spend some precious time with friends and family. For starters, day before CNY eve was a great evening of food, drinks, music and wonderful company. I started the evening by being a glorious 45mins late as I had really bad luck that day. No no..they ain't excuses. Try falling in the bus, missing 2 trains and getting squashed by the mrt station's ez-link gates all in 2 hours..sigh. What a start to the evening.Food at Basil Alcove was yummylicious and well worth the wait! We then headed over to Timbre and luck was with me for once. We got a seat right away and the band was warming up to play. By the time the drinks came, the music was ready to rock (literally). Talk bout good timing. :D The outdoorish feel's great for chilling (on a cool night). Pity the band's second set was way too loud for me liking.

Was really bored as I'm attempting to waste my life away. Rather, unable to put myself to bed due to the upcoming CNY hols. Thus, spent 5 secs googling my name and guess what I got??!!Goodness, that was so long ago....If I should roll out my bowling balls and blow the dust off them now, I don't believe I would be able to carry even the 11lbs spare ball. heh.Oh well, the good ole days..........To those who didn't believe me when I said I bowled... *bleh* P.S. I'm no. 50. shh.....
The ambience was nice, the food was fantastic and the company...delightful. Valentine's Day is a day for expressing (rather explicitly I believe) one's love for another. I've heard stories of sleepless nights for gifts preparation, hundreds of dollars for bouquets of flowers, extravagant room decoration, etc. Sadly, I didn't receive a present nor a flower (unless you count a peacock feather which doesn't even belong to me...). However, yesterday was to me, the most meaningful Vdae ever. We may have only gone for a simple dinner but, his actions for that day spoke volumes to me. For not being upset and angry at my late arrival (at yet another special occasion), for tolerating fatigue and gastric, for being so compliant at my over zealous photo-taking.... *Happy Valentine's darling*The ennies celebrated Valentine's a day earlier this year unlike the last. We thought we'd be a wee bit smarter and avoid being one of the Vdae suckers. But alas, we found ourselves in another group - the idiots avoiding being a Vdae sucker but still celebrating it. *sigh*
But hey! I'm a girl...i'm entitled to a day of romance ya? heh.
Anyhoos, we found ourselves a place at BROTH - Bar Restaurant on the Hill, Duxton Hill to be exact. I decided on this little quaint restaurant as my dear friend Eric works there. Trust me, it's reeaallly good knowing someone like him. *winkz*
